Surf Report 23 May 2018.jpg

23.05.2018

After the forecast looked pretty small we live by the philosophy "you got to be in it to win it".....we struck out at first light...the wind was perfect with a tiny swell.....a couple of the crew paddled out for the sunrise moment.  After an hour we all jumped in and were met with a building good quality long range swell, combined with neap tides and zero wind, produced mesmerising waves.  With such clean conditions and clear water it was almost impossible to see that you were riding a wave and not hovering over the reef.  We surfed for 4.5 hours....do we need to say more?
